SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Mr. Ulf Hedberg has worked at the Archives since 1988 as part time graduate assistant, and then became Director since 1991. Currently, Mr. Ulf Hedberg is Director of the Archives at Gallaudet University.

Mr. Hedberg's duties are various and he works with different projects within the Gallaudet University Archives. His duties are to provide for efficient and high quality services; develop and administer University records, manuscripts collections, rare books, art and museum objects, prints and photographs, and other special collections; plan for and initiate conservation measures to prevent deterioration of same provide reference service to the collections; promote use of the collections. Upon on request, he would be happy to arrange for a tour into the secured treasures in the vault.
