SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Prior to Gallaudet, Ying worked at Howard University for eleven years (1980-1991). From there she went to the Department of Interior as a serials cataloger. In 1992, she joined the Gallaudet Libray as Catalog Librarian (Monographs & Serials). In 1996, she became the Coordinator of Serials. She coordinated and supervised the operation of the Serials Unit. In April 2006, with the merger of the Serials and the Acquisition Units, she becomes the Coordinator of Acquisition. She is a member of American Library Association; Potomac Technical Processing Librarian Assn.; and Collection Management Coordinating Committee.
