Washington Research Library Consortium (WRLC)
The Washington Research Library Consortium (WRLC) is an association of Washington area libraries created in 1987 "to share library collections and information technology in order to enhance the resources available to their students and faculty."
WRLC members are:
- American University
- The Catholic University of America
- Gallaudet University
- George Mason University
- George Washington University
- Georgetown University
- Marymount University
- University of the District of Columbia
The WRLC ALADIN system is the gateway to services provided by WRLC members. It includes:
- ALADIN Catalog - list of all the books, videos, and journal subscriptions owned by member libraries
- Online databases, e-journals, and other resources
- Online Digital and Special Collections
Gallaudet students, faculty, and staff members have access to the resources of all the WRLC libraries. They may
- Visit and use other WRLC libraries (a current Gallaudet ID may be required for admission)
- Borrow books from other WRLC libraries
- Request that books and copies of journal articles be sent from other WRLC libraries to Gallaudet
