Many recent dissertations are available online in Dissertations and Theses (ProQuest).
The Library also has a collection of print and microfilm deaf-related dissertations; instructions are at the bottom of this page.
To use Dissertations and Theses (ProQuest)
Click ALADIN
If you are off campus, you will have to log on to ALADIN. Here's how.
Click "Databases by Title" (see green below)

Click "Dissertations and Theses (ProQuest)" (see green below)

You may search for dissertations by author, title, keyword, etc.

Here are some results of a keyword search for "Gallaudet University." Note that you may
- open the abstract,
- open the first 24 pages,
- and very often, open the entire dissertation ("Full Text - PDF")
- "Order a copy" (refers to buying a copy)

To find print and microfilm dissertations
Search for dissertations as if they were books - by author, title, keyword, and subject. See Find a book in ALADIN.
