This guide will help you get started doing research not related to deafness.

The Library has

• books, videos, journals, and other materials to support the University's undergraduate and graduate curricula and our students' general education
• online indexes, articles, and dissertations available through the ALADIN library system
• additional online materials available through the Library's web site

To find books and videos, use the ALADIN Catalog. Click here for tips on how to use it.

The following resources are available to anyone on the Gallaudet campus. Off-campus use is limited to current Gallaudet students, faculty, and staff members.

Some dissertations are available online in Dissertations and Theses (ProQuest). (Others are listed in the ALADIN Catalog.)

There are many ways to find journal articles. If you already have a citation for a specific article, ask a librarian for assistance.
