How the Library Can Help You and Your Students

Planning assignments

We encourage you to contact us before planning courses and assigning homework and research projects to make sure the Library has the resources to support your students' work.

Library Instruction classes

You may bring your students to the Library for instruction or invite a subject specialist [add link when available] to visit your students. Please allow at least two weeks for us to tailor the class to your students' needs.

Your students will benefit most if their Library class is linked to a specific assignment. Students should understand their assignment and the topics they will be researching before they meet with a librarian.

Please attend the entire session. Your presence will reinforce the importance of Library use and model interactions with a librarian.

Bringing your students to the Library

You are welcome to bring your students to the Library. Because our space, computer facilities, and staff are limited, please contact us in advance.

Appointments for in-depth help

Both faculty members and students may make appointments with subject specialist [add link when available] for in-depth, uninterrupted help.
