Find an article if you are researching a topic

Try these tips to find an article about a particular topic quickly. We do not recommend this for in-depth research. For more tips about finding articles related to specific disciplines, click here. If you need more help, contact us.

  • Click ALADIN
  • If you are off campus, you will have to log on to ALADIN. Here's how.
  • Click either ProQuest Research Library or Ebscohost: Academic Search Premier (see green below)

  • ALADIN screen shot

  • At the next screen, click the "full text" box
    • ProQuest Research Library says "Full text documents only"
    • Ebscohost: Academic Search Premier says "Full Text"
  • In the top search box, type your search and click "Search." Examples:
    • charter schools
    • women and afghanistan
    • deaf and (hispanic or latino)
  • You will probably get a list of at least a few articles. You may click individual article titles, read the abstracts, and then open the full articles.
