Find a video on the shelf
The Library has videos in VHS and DVD formats. Some videos may be borrowed for three days. Others (Non-Circulating) may only be used in the Library.
3 Day Loan videos are near the Reference area on the Middle Level of the Library. There are four sections:
- Deaf VHS
- General VHS
- Deaf DVD
- General DVD
Each video has a call number. Examples:
- DEAF VHS 737
- DVD 791.4372 C56 2005
The videos are shelved by call number.
Deaf VHS's and Deaf DVDs have yellow "D" labels on their cases.
Non-Circulating videos are in another location. To use them, ask for help at the Service Desk.
A few videos are kept at the Service Desk. The ALADIN Catalog says: "Temporarily Shelved at GA: UNIV Reserve: Two Hour"
Here is an example of ALADIN Catalog video information. The Library has two copies of this video. One is Non-Circulating; the other is 3 Day Loan.
